Let's start with a little bit about my pack. I have three dogs, Koda (Samoyed), Kalista ( Siberian Husky) and Storm (Siberian Husky) along with two cats, Tales (Maine coon) and Hera (Siamese mix). From a young age I've had a strong passion for animals and have taken every opportunity to be actively involved in their well being. Over the past several years I've worked in the veterinary field and gained experience with routine procedures such as: humane animal restraint, nail trims and administering vaccines. I am certified in pet first aid. I am a full time pet sitter in the Poconos and loving my career choice! Every pet sitting and dog walking is another chance to care for a furry friend.
I am a huge animal lover with two Australian Cattle dogs, Cheyenne and Maverick, two DMH cats, Demo and Pretty Mamma, a Siamese Fighting Fish, Moonlight, and a tolerant husband, Justin. For the past three years I have enjoyed taking pictures, especially pet portraits, with my business Alisha Devon Photography. I have four years experience in the veterinary field and six years experience in pet sitting. I am happy to be a part of Koda's family and look forward to sharing my love of animals with you!
I have always had great compassion for animals. I was employed by an animal rescue and adoption organization for 15 years. For 5 years of that employment I worked in a vet tech position. I spent many years participating in pet assisted therapy. I have also taken a variety of dog obedience classes. I have always owned many kinds of animals. Currently our family owns 2 labs. Their names are Angie and Emma and they are both 85 lbs. We also have a senior Pekeingese mix. Her name is Myrtle. Our 2 guinea pigs names are Shimmer and Zipper. We also have our new addition Holly. She is a beautiful black and white teenage cat. I am currently a stay at home mom with a schedule which allows me to take great care of your furry family members. I look forward to meeting you.
